The JSN-SR0T4-2.0 ultrasonic ranging module can provide non-contact distance sensing function of 20cm-600cm, with ranging accuracy up to 2mm; The module consists of an ultrasonic sensor that integrates transmission and reception, as well as a control circuit. This product adopts an industrial grade integrated ultrasonic probe design, waterproof, stable performance, and can accommodate all MCU operations in the market. R27=open means no welding is required. The explanation of this mode is as follows
Basic working principle:
1. Use IO port TRIG to trigger distance measurement and provide a 10us high level signal.
2. The module automatically sends 8 40kHz square waves and detects whether there is a signal return;
3. When there is a signal return, a high level is output through the IO port ECHO, and the duration of the high level is the time from the emission to the return of the ultrasonic wave. Test distance=(high-level time * sound speed (340M/S))/2;
4. After the module is triggered for ranging, if it cannot receive the echo (due to reasons beyond the measured range or the probe not facing the measured object), the ECHO port will automatically become low after 60MS, indicating the end of this measurement, regardless of whether it is successful or not.
5. LED indicator light description: LED is not a power indicator light, it will only light up after the module receives a trigger signal, and the module is in working state at this time.
R27=47K is the welding 47K resistor. The explanation of this mode is as follows
The serial output format is TTL level, indicating that the module automatically outputs the distance value in millimeters with a cycle of 100MS. Serial baud rate: 9600, n, 8,1
After the module is powered on for identification, it directly enters the working mode. The module measures distance every 100ms internally and outputs a frame from pin TX, containing 4 8-bit data. The frame format is 0XFF+H_ DATA+L_ DATA+SUM
1.0XFF: Starting data for one frame, used for judgment;
2. H_ DATA: Distance to the top 8 bits of the data;
3. L_ DATA: Distance to the lower 8 bits of the data;
4. SUM: Data and, used for validation. Its 0XFF+H_ DATA+L_ DATA=SUM (low 8 bits only)
Note: H_ DATA and L_ DATA synthesizes 16 bit data, which is the distance value in millimeters
