Introduction to Synchronous Rectification Technology:
Synchronous rectification is a new technology that uses dedicated power MOSFETs with extremely low on state resistance to replace rectifier diodes and reduce rectification losses. It can greatly improve the efficiency of DC/DC converters and there is no dead zone voltage caused by barrier voltage. Power MOSFETs belong to voltage controlled devices, and their volt ampere characteristics exhibit a linear relationship during conduction. When using power MOSFETs as rectifiers, it is required that the gate voltage must be synchronized with the phase of the rectified voltage in order to complete the rectification function, hence it is called synchronous rectification. Synchronous rectification technology greatly reduces the rectification loss at the output end of switch mode power supplies, thereby improving conversion efficiency and reducing the heating of the power supply itself.

Output current adjustment method:
1. Adjust the CV potentiometer and set the output voltage to the voltage value you need according to your load requirements.
2. Set the CC potentiometer counterclockwise for about 30 turns (i.e. set the output current to the minimum), connect the LED, and adjust the CC potentiometer to the current you need. For battery charging, after discharging the battery, connect it to the output and adjust CC to the current you need. (When using it for charging, be sure to use the discharged battery to adjust it accurately, because the more battery power is left, the lower the charging current.)
